Partner Sharon Vinick was recognized by The Daily Journal, the leading legal newspaper in California, as one of the Top 75 Labor and Employment Lawyers in California. Citing her work on behalf of the Oakland Raiderettes and the New York Flight Crew (the cheerleading squads for the Oakland Raiders and the New York Jets, respectively), Sharon was praised for her commitment to combatting wage theft. The Journal also noted Sharon’s work on behalf of Tracy Lemmon, an attorney who sued her former employer for disability discrimination. Sharon successfully argued in both Superior and the Court of Appeals (Chubb & Sons v. Superior Court, 228 Cal. App.4th 1094 (2014)) that Ms. Lemmon that neither the attorney client privilege or the work product doctrine prevented Ms. Lemmon from pursuing her claims.
