Women Lawyers of Alameda County has installed LVBH partner Leslie Levy as President of its Board, with a two year term that began January 1, 2020. She and other board members were sworn into office by California Supreme Court Justice Carol A. Corrigan. Leslie was nominated for this role by the 15-member WLAC Board and voted into the office at the organization’s annual meeting in October. Leslie has served on the Board since 2016.
Formed in 1980, WLAC provides a voice for women in the law. The organization strives to support women in the legal field, provide education and networking opportunities as well as mentoring law students and new lawyers.
