For the fourth consecutive year, all four partners of Levy Vinick Burrell Hyams LLP have been selected to the 2020 Super Lawyers list published in Super Lawyers Magazine. In addition, associate attorneys Katherine Smith and Hilary Hammell were both selected to the 2020 Rising Stars list. It is the third consecutive year for Katherine Smith and the second consecutive year for Hilary Hammell.

Among those honored, Sharon Vinick and Jean Hyams were named to The Top 100 Super Lawyers list in Northern California for 2020. Leslie Levy, Sharon Vinick, and Jean Hyams were all named to The Top 50 Women Super Lawyers list for 2020.

Each year, no more than five percent of the lawyers in the state are selected by the research team at Super Lawyers to receive the Super Lawyers recognition.  And no more than 2.5 percent of the lawyers in the state are selected as Rising Stars.

Even with such a small percentage of attorneys around the state featured annually on the Super Lawyers list, the honor has been bestowed multiple times on the LVBH partners.  This is thirteenth year Leslie F. Levy has been named to the Super Lawyers list, the fourteenth year for Sharon Vinick, the eighth year for Darci Burrell, and the sixteenth year for Jean Hyams.

Super Lawyers rates outstanding lawyers from multiple practice areas who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. The annual selections are made using a patented multiphase process that includes a statewide survey of lawyers, an independent research evaluation of candidates and peer reviews by practice area.
